You're not alone.

Well, it's that time of year...the end of season for many football teams, which means coaches and their families are being let go from their jobs. Jobs where they poured so much of their time and emotions into.

I've talked with MANY coach wives in the last week who are all going through the same thing- they recently found out their husband was fired and they are currently trying to pick up the pieces to see where their next paycheck will come from.

It's a scary time, and what makes me sad is hearing these wives say they feel like they are the only one going through this process. To that, I will say,

I would greatly encourage you to get with your other coach wives across the country so that you can truly understand this. There are many coach wives groups on Facebook- just do a quick search for them. They have really helped me in understanding that I'm not alone in the unique experiences we face as coach wives. You can also follow our page on FB, Coach Wife Life, and Instagram @coachwifelife.

I would love to be that person for you too. So if you are feeling alone or frustrated that your family doesn't get it or when your co-workers are in disbelief that you would follow your husband around for his career, just reach out! I am just an email away :) coachwifelife@gmail.com

Here is something that helped me out today, as well. Matthew 6:25-34

I know for my family, God has never let us down before and I don't anticipate him starting now. Keep your chin up! We will get through this together!
