I don't know about you, but ice cream is DEFINITELY one of my weaknesses! When I'm doing well with my nutrition, it's usually ice cream that makes me give in to my cravings. So I decided to experiment with different ways to make ice cream HEALTHY!
For this recipe, I used chocolate Shakeology and it was wonderful! Even my husband agreed.
-1 medium banana, cut into chunks
-1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
-2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
-2 Tbsp. all-natural smooth peanut butter
-Place banana in a plastic bag and freeze for 4 hours until completely frozen.
-Place all ingredients in a blended or food processor, cover, and blend until smooth.
-You can serve this immediately, or stick it in the freezer to help it set up a bit more. When you are ready to eat it, stick it in the microwave for about 30 seconds to soften it.
If you want to make this recipe but don't have Shakeology, you can purchase it here.
